About: OK, This song started out because the dogs leave toys all over the stair, they love running up and down them. But as with most things dog, you must be careful. We don't want anyone tripping down teh stairs.I managed to rhyme (nearly) every line with 'stair', so, it's got that going for it. I know I missed a week, so I'm going to try for two songs next week. About: Wow. Just when I thought I wasn't going to make it. This week has been a pretty rough work week for me. Christine has been horribly ill and I have been trying to be supportive and accomodating. I've also been helpign friends with projects and working on some of my own. Well, I figured I would just pul a song out of the archive, but there were technical difficulties with my electic instruments and recording settings so even teh easy out wasnt working.So, I decided to be responsible and just write a new song. IT was really fun. I hope you like it. Written in about 3 hours on Sunday night and finished at around 8:30 PM. Hey, it's still week 6 so it still counts. I just started strumming some easy chords on teh guitar and singing what came to my mind and after about 30 takes I was satisfied with the lyrics, and got a recording in. Let me know what you think.

About: This is the first song written for the ribmonster project in 2018. Quite possibly the first (and only) song written in 2018, making it technically the best song of the year, hence the title. I was worried I wouldn't be able to come up with anything and had planned to re-record an older song from a few years ago but while I was headed to work yesterday, this idea struck me and by the time I got to the office I had the lyrics done. At home that evening I came up with the chords and after a little tweaking, I had created my first song this year.It's a little rough but this excercise is not about hifidelity recording and perfection, it is about being creative and I think I accomplished that here.
